The target audience appears to be adoptive and/or foster parents. It also appears this book would be best for adoption and all forms of permanency: adoption, foster care, kinship care, donor insemination and surrogacy. This book is specifically designed to address the seven core issues in adoption and permanency.  After giving a synopsis of each of the seven core issues, it then breaks down how each of those issues directly affects different constellation members surrounding the adoption.

This book was incredibly informative. This reference tool is designed for anyone who wants to get a better understanding of other points of view in the story of adoption. I gave it such high marks because I will go back to this book over and over to help me when working with different individuals. Audrey grew up in Memphis, TN and attended Western Kentucky University. She and her husband, Jordan, are currently houseparents with Tennessee Baptist Children’s Homes in Brentwood, TN. They have adopted their two children from foster care. They can also have up to eight other girls in their residential home at any given time.
