Pokemon Sword and Shield (2019) – Comprehensive Review

Pokemon Sword and Shield is the 8th generation in the franchise. A brand new continent awaits you in this RPG adventure where you play as a child battling to become a Pokemon Champion and solve the mysteries of Galar. This is a fantastic game that is great for all ages and is tailored to both new players playing the franchise for the first time and returning veterans. It is easy to learn and the game will always help you if you ever find yourself lost or trying to get better. The music and sound are great. The graphics are beautiful with a gorgeous, cartoony, and colorful look.

I personally love this game. I have been playing it since it first came out, and it has not disappointed me at all. As a semi-Pokemon veteran, they have made a lot of quality-of-life changes that has made the grind of making your team stronger much easier and less time consuming than previous generations. You are still able to wirelessly battle and trade with other players, but now there is a new co-op battle system where you can work together with other players to battle giant Pokemon. You do not need the Nintendo Internet service to play with your friends if they are on the same wi-fi network as you, but you will need it if you want to play with them if they’re not in the same room as you.
