Transfiguring Adoption’s Thoughts:
Cyril Squirrel is a tale which appears to be targeted at young children ages 2-6. However, we will note that our 12 year old was quite keen to pick up the book and ponder over it alone. It appears that while the book can be used within any type of family – it seems that this story will be most helpful to families which are caring for children with traumatized backgrounds and confused about love and/or kindness.
